The Lithuanian Rally Championship has comes to an end together with the whole 2025 rally season in Lithuania. Rally Aukštaitija will be the final rally of the year, and what could be better than finishing the season on the magical special stages of the Zarasai district? Six N5 cars are expected to compete in the season’s epilogue. Notably, N5 LTU will have a special stage named after it, and the fastest N5 crew to win this stage will receive a €500 voucher for shopping at 8000 RPM Motorsport or RMC Motorsport dealerships. As usual for rallies in Zarasai or Utena, the action will take place over two days, and since this is the final event, points will be awarded with a coefficient of 1.2.

In the LARČ1 class, where D. Gezevičius and E. Sladkevičius are competing, the situation appears tense at first glance – Eugenijus is only 11 points behind the leading Deividas, but the N-1 rule will come into play, which will significantly worsen the situation for the Škoda Fabia N5+ crew. Eugenijus has finished all events this year, so one of his worst results will be dropped, potentially resulting in a loss of points. Meanwhile, as Deividas Gezevičius did not finish in Ukmergė, his points tally can only increase – three victories and one second place naturally put the driver in a very favourable position. Therefore, the Ford Fiesta N5 crew will probably focus more on the overall AWD standings, where they even have a chance to remain second, but there is also a risk of dropping out of the top three. Eugenijus, currently fifth in the overall AWD standings, can both improve or worsen his position.

Paulius Beniušis and Kristupas Adinavičius, who started season brilliantly, did not finish the last two rallies, but they still have a considerable lead in their LARČ5 class, so simply finishing should secure them the title. In the overall AWD classification, there are also many opportunities to move up from their current ninth place, so it will be interesting to see what the Citroën C3 N5 crew will aim for. As Aurimas Eidžiūnas is not on the starting list, Audronis Gulbinas can be considered to have secured second place in the LARČ5 class, and with success in the AWD classification, the VW Polo N5 crew could break into the top twenty. If they finish successfully, another N5 newcomer this season -Justinas Brokorius and Ramūnas Paškevičius – could move up to third place in LARČ5. They would certainly like to end their run of three unfinished events. We also wish Rokas Markovičius, driving a Hyundai i20 N5 to finish LARČ event for the first time this season as they sucesfully warmed up at the mini rally event in Mažeikiai last weekend.
