The Citroën C3 N5 crew of Paulius Beniušis and Kristupas Adinavičius also made very noticeable progress this season. Numerous winter competitions, tests before each rally, accumulated experience, and a well-maintained car allowed the crew from Kaunas to surprise their competitors and delight the fans. Paulius and Kristupas had an almost perfect first part of the season, but a few mistakes meant that the LARČ5 title still slipped from their grasp.
Paulius Beniušis comment:
“The season was quite long and productive: three winter rallies, eight gravel rallies, and tests before each rally. We gained a lot of experience, which allowed us to accelerate significantly this year compared to the 2024 season. The first half of the season was very promising; everything went as planned, we gained speed with every kilometre, and the atmosphere was very positive. Unfortunately, the last three rallies did not go as we wanted. We did not finish any of them due to my mistakes. We rolled in Rokiškis, in Elektrėnai we broke a wheel after hitting a stone on the road, and in Zarasai, the kilometre post cut through the radiator and caused further problems. But this is part of rallying, and the lesson has been learned.
Congratulations to Audronis on winning the championship, and many thanks to Darius Biesevičius and Žygimantas Gražys for the perfectly prepared car, and of course, thanks to everyone who supported us. We are already looking forward to next year. We will try again 🙂
