The Cesis Rally, which took place in Latvia, was the only external event in all three Lithuanian rally championships. The participants of the Lithuanian Car Rally Sprint Championship are taking part in Cesis for the second time, including the Hyundai i20 N5 crew consisting of Rokas Markovičius and Martynas Masaitis. Cesis was their second competition after purchasing a Hyundai i20 N5. After successfully completing the Rokiškis rally, the team from Kaunas also successfully completed the rally in Latvia. The pair competed in the Rally Sprint Open class, where they took third place after five stages. The team remained in fifth place in the overall rally sprint standings. It is worth mentioning that Rokas and Martynas, who switched to a new car in some special stages, achieved quite respectable times even compared to the general line-up of the Cesis rally, so it can be expected that this crew will progress quickly.
The crew next start will be at the stage of the Lithuanian Car Mini Rally Championship in Plungė, where they will be joined by the long-sought Renault Clio N5 with a completely new driver.
